About Hosting Bites
Hostingbites is a food blog focused on simple, tested recipes for everyday cooking.

Meet the author
Grace Nakamura
Grace spent her twenties too shy to invite anyone over, and hates how many years that cost her. Now the balcony is full every weekend and she is fierce about it. A board of little bites is how she tells people she is glad they came, and she means it every time.
What you will find here
Hosting Bites is for people who feed a crowd: bites, dips, boards, and small plates that can be made ahead and still look good an hour into the party.
How recipes get made here
Recipes are tested at party scale, then held at room temperature or in a warm oven for the time a real gathering takes. Every recipe says how far ahead it can be made and how to bring it back.
Some links on the site are affiliate links. If you buy through one, the site may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. It never changes what gets recommended.
